ABOUT
Dr. Jae Eun Park is a Korean-Canadian pianist whose career as a performer and educator spans North America, Europe, and Asia. She has appeared on prominent stages such as Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Koerner Recital Hall in Vancouver, Paul Hall at The Juilliard School, and Williams Hall at the New England Conservatory. She made her international solo debut in Bergen, Holland, and has since performed across Italy, Poland, Canada, and the United States.
A versatile collaborative artist, Dr. Park has worked extensively with vocalists and instrumentalists in recital, audition, and academic settings. She has held staff pianist positions at The Juilliard School, New England Conservatory, Boston University, and the Aspen Music Festival. She has also served on faculty at the Vancouver International School of Music and Concord-Carlisle Adult and Community Education.
Her summer festival experience includes being a collaborative piano fellow at the Music Academy of the West and Bowdoin International Music Festival, where she worked closely with young artists in chamber, orchestral, and studio settings. She has also participated in the International Holland Music Sessions and Casalmaggiore International Music Festival.
Dr. Park has performed in masterclasses for artists such as Andreas Ottensamer, Almita Vamos, Jim Walker, Richie Hawley, and Kathleen Winkler, and collaborated with students of Paul Katz, Yeesun Kim, Miriam Fried, and other renowned teachers. Her orchestral work includes performing Anna Clyne’s Night Ferry under Hugo Wolff at Jordan Hall. She is also a winner of the Thousand Islands International Piano Competition.
Dr. Park began her musical training at Yewon Art School in Seoul and later studied under renowned pedagogue Lee Kum Sing in Canada. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music, an Artist Diploma from the Vancouver Academy of Music, a Master of Music from the New England Conservatory, and a Graduate Diploma from The Juilliard School, studying with Jonathan Feldman and Lydia Brown. She completed her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Collaborative Piano at Boston University in 2025, graduating with honors and induction into Pi Kappa Lambda. Her awards include the Howard Hanson Scholarship, Mary A. Kana Endowed Scholarship, T&I Kleppel Scholarship, Samuel Sanders Collaborative Pianists Award, and the Boston University School of Music Merit Scholarship.
Currently based in New York, Dr. Park maintains an active career as a collaborative pianist, private instructor, and recitalist.
